This is random! It's an air conditioner fan! It's behind the library.

Anyway, I've noticed that I tend to frame all my photos the same way... so I'm going to try to get a bit more creative. We'll see how this goes.

Cookies

Today I bring you another photo from the break room. I'll try to get something more interesting tomorrow. Anyway, isn't that cookie jar cute?

Dirty

This is how we keep track of whether the dishes are dirty or clean in the break room at work. Sadly, I didn't get to go anywhere cool since my hip and back acted up halfway through work, so this is all ya'll get today.

Flowers

It's me! Shock!

I forget what these flowers are called despite the fact that they are also growing in front of my house. This is behind the library, where they grow unchecked and in abundance every spring.

Sweet ride

I found this snail on this leaf and immediatly thought "that had to be one wild ride."

Eggs!

Today when I went outside, the dove I mentioned a couple of posts ago wasn't in her nest for whatever reason... so I realized that I could take a photo of her eggs. However, I'm short and even on a chair I couldn't see them, so this is a blind shot. Sorry it's kind of blurry.

Wild flowers

These cute little wild flowers were demanding a photo. I wish them luck in escaping a lawn mower.

Mourning Dove

Every year, a pair of Mourning Doves makes a nest in this hanging plant. I really don't know why, though; half their chicks fall in the pool and drown. It's really quite sad.

Anyway, there're two eggs in there when I checked.

Sunning on a nice day

Yes, it's another one of those green anoles. I watch them pretty regularly, and I like taking photos of them, too. Anyway, I thought Mary looked really happy and carefree today, so I took her photo.

New frond

Ferns look so cool when they're putting out new fronds. I always find the spiral to be fascinating.

Paper clovers

Krogers is doing a donation program where if you donate a few dollars, your name gets put on a clover and hung up. Look, there's even a gold one!

Select Jeeps

There's a little used Jeep store located on Hwy-3 between Walker and 96 that I find rather amuzing. It started off small, with a cement slab and some jeeps... then it got a pile of dirt to display a jeep on... then some rocks and a fancy sign and, well, stuff. The jeeps are pretty cheap and they're obviously doing very well.

Also, sorry for the lack of posts recently. I was out of town for the weekend.

This really should've gone up yesterday since that was my birthday, so happy belated birthday to myself! I'm 20!

A purple flower

The feeder

Quick shot I took while my dad was driving when we were about to turn onto the I-45 feeder.

Chili's

Chili's is a nifty little restaurant chain that's famous for its baby back ribs song that it used to play in its commercials. I'll have to take the words of others that those things are good; I don't like that kind of meat. I can say that their cheese sticks are excellent, though.

Sorry for the picture quality, my Panasonic doesn't do well in dim lighting and I didn't grab the new camera.

Car dealerships

One advantage eastern Texas has over many places is the amount of flat space. Car dealerships take advantage of this. I'll never forget when I visited my sister in LA a while back being shocked at how tiny the dealerships were there; I've grown up in Texas and I'd never seen new car dealers with so little space. Well, this one Mercedes dealership takes up a nice chunk of land off of I-45 between 518 and 96, though you can't really see how much in this photo.
